I have found myself using excuses to justify something to myself. Have you ever done this? Do you have excuses that hold you back? How do you overcome this blockage? Here's my strategy.

Sometimes my own projects seem quite adventurous. Adventurous in their realization. Then thoughts come to me that question everything. The goal is great. I am convinced of that! Today I tell you why this summer seems chaotic to me and what helps me out of this mess.

What can we do when we recognize negative thoughts in ourselves?

One week I feel great and then suddenly I run into a low again. How low? Stop. Ask yourself a better question: What can you do now?

I see a group of us sitting near Mt Pinnacle waiting for the sunset. I am looking forward to the fantastic time we will have together. How does that help me now?

Do you focus on those that help you grow or on those that question your motivation? Until now I could have sworn I’d focus on support, but NO I let 7 influence me wrongly. Have you heard of the concept of 7 out of 1000?

When I feel the higher power I am full of confidence. And sometimes this power diminishes. Just as if someone pulled a plug. It is then that I need to get in touch with my self-confidence.

Tomorrow I'll start fresh. As soon as I open my eyes, I will feel good. Are you cleaning out your "garage" as well?

Less staying up late and more leaving the warm bed earlier in the morning. That means sleeping 7 hours and then just getting up, getting dressed and out of the house. - How do you teach yourself to change?

You know the saying, "What you can put off today, you can put off tomorrow"? Not only did three months suddenly fly by, I felt limp and sluggish. What are you doing to free yourself from your sluggishness? I have big plans, will you join me?

Do what you love and don't let yourself be distracted. Ask yourself again and again, and more importantly, answer the question: What is not to be done now?

In such moments, I try to stick to Buddha's advice: "Drop the thought". It all depends on the quality of our thoughts. Which quality do you prefer?

There is no overnight success. Yet often blogs don't show the complete journey that lead up to the successful breakthrough. Growing into different roles in life is messy. I blog about all elements of my transformation: the beginnings, the messy middle and the success. Perhaps my messy middle can take the edge of yours a bit.

You could compare it to your itinerary for your summer holidays. Say you would like to travel from your home to Marseille in southern France. You know your goal is to relax at the beach, read some good books and enjoy the French red wine and atmosphere. Same works for your long-term goals: With the right navigation you can reach your goals.

My thoughts are circling in my head. Sitting on the floor, my thoughts open a flap. It leads directly to a slide. My thoughts and I slide down a huge downward spiral. We race toward the bottom. But I can't see the end.
