Tonight one of my friends talked me through his experience of a Peace Education Trainingwhich he attended in Riga last month. We met online and he showed me a short ppt presentation. He was on fire talking about his experience. I won the impression that he became even more excited when he was telling me about the overlay of our mission statements and past events onto the theory of the training. His eyes were shining!
The sparks of his fire lit also mine. Ideas came pouring in. I just love the feeling when ideas fit together like puzzle pieces of a bigger picture.
We will use our fire and our aliveness to find leaders like us who make events possible. We will pour our heart and creativity into bringing encounters between Israeli and German leaders to life. We will strive forward to connect as many groups of youth and young adults in scouting as possible in Israel and Germany in the fall of 2024. We will encourage peace education in its best form. Youth and young adults will experience peace within total immersion!
Writing about this makes me happy. Experiencing it together will be fun.
