Unfortunately, I do not remember who gave me this tip. But the tip is great! Create something new every day. Creating something every day is great.
Why is that?
Creating means being in motion and motion creates energy. Having energy is good for me and gives me more courage to live. It makes me feel good.
Creating is connected to creativity. I enjoy thinking and acting creatively. Sometimes I feel that I am an artist. That is, a person who can give free rein to creating something that can tell volumes. I like to hear and tell stories. In the good stories I can just let myself fall, even dive in and out. When I emerge and admire the new thing I have created, I am overjoyed.
Creating creates routine. It's a beautiful routine. It shows me the importance of creating again and again. If I hesitate, the desire to keep the routine catches up with me. I do not need to convince or persuade myself to start again. With the routine comes an intrinsic reward. I am happy that the reward comes by itself.
Creating creates facts. These facts add up to a body of work. And because I'm working on it regularly and routinely, the rounds of reflection on this topic are worthwhile. What I find out for myself, be it good or challenging, I can push or improve in the next round. This way I grow faster and learning is more fun.
Creating something changes me at the same time. I learn, try, reflect, adjust the plan, am creative, impulsive, deliberate and courageous. I consciously develop myself. Step by step and every day. That too is wonderful.
What have you created lately? What will you create next?
Whatever you do, enjoy it!
