How wonderful it was! First, a few drinks to warm up, and then heading into town at 11 p.m. Standing in line for a bit. Buying a ticket. Getting a stamp on the back of your hand. Checking your jacket and heading straight into the crowd.
First, arriving and looking around. Then heading to the bar for a drink. The bass is thumping from the dance floor! The beats are racing. The room draws you in, and off you go.
You move rhythmically to the music. You jump. You wave your arms around. You swing your hips. You sing along at the top of your lungs! The endorphins come rushing out. You’re soaking wet with sweat and incredibly happy.
It’s simply wonderful to dance, wonderful to watch others dance. It’s simply wonderful to be where the music is loud!
