1 | Is there doubt in you?

Often, I waited to become better. Often, it was also the hope that I would be better tomorrow. Frequently, it was the fear that I was not yet the right person for my new task. I assumed that my doubts about my abilities were naturally shared by the people around me. That held me back. I held myself back. Every now and then, a standstill.

Viktor E. Frankl wrote that it is better to look at what life expects from us. He turned away from the questions or obstacles that regularly raced through his mind. This can also be our path. Turning away or letting the thoughts pass.

Frankl points to a solution: You are enough. Act! Take responsibility for your life and discover the right answers to the challenges in your life. Fulfill the tasks that come your way.

It does not really matter what we expect from life, but rather what life expects from us. We need to stop asking about the meaning of life, and instead think of ourselves as those who are being questioned by life – daily and hourly. Our answers must consist, not in talk and meditation, but in right action and in right conduct. Life ultimately means taking responsibility to find the right answers to its problems and to fulfill the tasks which it constantly sets for each individual. These tasks, and therefore the meaning of life, differ from man to man, from woman to woman, and from moment to moment. Life’s tasks are very real and concrete.

Viktor E. Frankl

Frankl gets straight to the point. Our tasks differ from person to person and from one moment to the next. Again and again, we are given new tasks that we can embrace as adventures today.

“You are enough” is your key to a fulfilling life.

Live now, trust your intuition and what feels good for you. Then do more of it, and more, and just a little bit more.
